The following is a mashup illustration for the mermaid-inspired art challenge #Mermay. Started on Instagram by former Disney animator and character design virtuoso Tom Bancroft, Mermay inspires artists to draw mermaids in the month of May. I was challenged to create a mashup between Ursula's distant cousin and a photo pose of my good friend and fellow Disney artist Joe Kaminski.
